Alle Olimpiadi invernali di Milano-Cortina 2026 lo skeletonista ucraino Vladyslav Heraskevych torna al centro del dibattito con il suo “Helmet of Memory”, un video in cui, grazie all’intelligenza artificiale, riappaiono i volti di atlete e atleti uccisi dall’invasione russa iniziata nel febbraio 2022. Le immagini ricostruiscono simbolicamente carriere spezzate e accompagnano la scritta “Remembrance is not violation”, rilanciando la discussione su regolamenti sportivi e libertà di espressione nei grandi eventi internazionali.
Per Heraskevych non si tratta di provocazione ma di dignità e diritto al ricordo. 🇺🇦
