Every May, we take a step away from our desks and come together as a team. And honestly — it has become one of the most important traditions at advanced store. 🤍

Especially in times of remote work, distributed teams and packed calendars, moments like these matter more than ever. Not just for workshops, ideas or strategy discussions, but for real conversations, shared experiences and the people behind the screens.

Because strong collaboration doesn’t only happen in meetings. It happens when people genuinely connect.

A huge thank you to for making this team trip possible year after year. It’s definitely not something we take for granted — and we’re incredibly thankful for the trust, the time and the investment into our team culture.

Already looking forward to the next one 🧡

Day 23 – The Disney Illusion: why brands design for “guided attention” ✨🏰

Ever wonder why crowds move almost instinctively toward the castle at Disney parks?

It’s not an accident. It’s architecture engineered for attention. Disney uses a design principle called “weenies” – visual anchors that pull people in one direction without any signage. Walt Disney coined the term himself. They placed tall, illuminated symbols along the park to guide guests subconsciously through the desired journey – toward shops, shows and experiences. What does that mean for performance marketing?

Effective funnels work the same way: you don’t need to shout, you need to guide.
🔹 use visual cues to lead users toward the next click
🔹 highlight one path, not twenty options
🔹 make the desired direction irresistible and intuitive

When attention is overloaded, guidance beats persuasion. Disney understood this long before digital tracking existed. The castle isn’t just the destination. It’s the funnel entrance.
