Sometimes starting over is the only option. While testing a new technique, the rear wheel alignment wasn’t perfect. So I scrapped the frame and built an entirely new frame.

The final frame shows off classic construction without any 3D parts and a raw sandblasted finish. It’s a versatile gravel bike that transforms smoothly for the road by changing out the wheels.

Although it meant putting in twice the work, I won’t give a frame to a client unless it’s exactly right. The process remained seamless for the client and the original lead time was still met.

Aside from its stunning pearl finish, this steel frame shows off: full Chris King components and a one-piece ENVE AR cockpit. Ready for whatever big gravel adventures lie around the corner and for many years of riding still to come.
