✨ Today we visited the exhibition at the Museum of African Art and honestly… we were so impressed we can’t stop recommending it.
If you’re in Belgrade, this is a must-visit.
The exhibition “Di: Art – Waste as Resource” addresses one of the key global challenges: the consequences of increasing waste and its potential transformation into a valuable resource. Through the practices of contemporary African artists, it opens up powerful perspectives on sustainability, creativity, and the future 🌍♻️
We also had the chance to see an incredible large-scale sculpture by — truly unforgettable.
And something that made the visit even more meaningful: we were lucky to experience their collaboration with the Veljko Ramadanović School, making the artworks accessible for visually impaired visitors. A beautiful and necessary step towards inclusive culture.
At Precious Plastic, we deeply connect with this approach: rethinking waste, challenging materials, and activating change through creativity and community.
💡 Highly recommend checking out their public program as well.

Dear shapers of Europe’s maker movement,
The 2026 VULCA Seminar is heading to Cuenca, Spain, in collaboration with FabLab Cuenca.
Since 2017, the seminar has brought together 480+ makers, researchers, fablab managers, and makerspace leaders from over 20 countries, building connections, sharing knowledge, and shaping the future of making in Europe.
In 2026, we take a step forward, exploring how the professionalization of the maker movement can contribute to a more resilient Europe.
Hosted at the Science Museum of Castilla-La Mancha, in the heart of Cuenca’s UNESCO-listed historic city, this year’s edition invites us to connect, repair, and create:
We’R Together – across borders and scales, from the local to the European level
We’Repair – rethinking repair beyond objects
We’R Creative – STEAM as a driver for innovation and impact
Through these lenses, we will explore how makers and makerspace leaders can build meaningful, sustainable careers and organizations that truly matter. We'Resilient
Join us in Cuenca, November 11–13.
Don’t miss out! Apply here: https://assistant.vulca.eu/events/vulca-seminar-2026
