Karen Klink creates vibrant and playful worlds tinged with a bleak fantastical twist, blurring the lines between flora and fauna.

While many of her hybrids are « unearthly », her work encompasses a range of characters from the whimsical to the absurd, inbued with emotions and lurid politics. These birds, like all the other creatures she draws, have become vehicles for her to express her feelings and unearth what it is to be human.

Her illustrations capitalize on ambiguity to weave fact and fiction, warped perspectives and exaggerated power plays. Her recent body of work is a wistful ode to Illusion and the deceptive and misleading fragility of our own reality.

was born from a love for mountainous and rocky landscapes and the raw beauty of nature.
All stoneware pieces are made entirely by hand. The mountain inspired vessels are one of a kind and no two will be completely alike. You will be able to observe and enjoy charming irregularities in each piece.
Inspired by traditional Japanese yunomi and chawan tea-bowls, each vessel has been hand built from a solid block of clay and roughly formed to resemble its final contour. It is then hollowed out, hand trimmed and textured to achieve an aesthetic that echoes the natural and simple beauty of rock formations.
Hand crafted on the Mediterranean coast, these functional vessels are created to elevate your daily routines.
