Several years ago, before I had a business, before I was working with clients online, before I made a permanent move abroad, I was living and working in NYC.
I knew I was at a point in my life where I wanted something different.
So I went on this journey…traveling, exploring, figuring out what a life that felt right for me could actually look like.
I remember working with my first coach, and we did this exercise describing my ideal day.
I said I wanted slow mornings. Coffee. Sun. Time to really enjoy my day and take long walks. I wanted a life that didn’t feel rushed. A life that wasn’t just about how it looked on the outside, but how it made me feel. You know?
Fast forward to today, and that’s exactly the kind of life I have. Not because it happened overnight, but because I got clear on what I wanted from the very beginning.
I imagined what would feel right for me, even when I didn’t know exactly how I’d get there.
It all starts with getting clear with what I wanted and having the audacity to go after it. 💋

I’ve never hired anyone to work on my website.
It’s just been me doing all the updates for the past few years.
I don’t even have a background in web design.
I’m not saying this as a flex, but as a reminder:
You can literally do anything you want in this life, if you have the desire to go after it.
Learning web design changed my life.
Even as a former journalist, I realized that writing for the web is a whole different skill. Not only do you have to build the site, but you also have to think about copy, landing pages, and all the little things that actually make your website sell.
There have been times where I doubted my skills (can you believe it?!) even after successfully building client websites.
Imposter syndrome is real…but so is the skill you gain when you push through.
I spend a lot of time updating client websites, and mine could use a little help too.
This Saturday-Sunday, I’ll be hosting a free 2-day Website in a Weekend workshop for anyone who wants to give their website a new look or get a sneak peek at how I’m setting up my new site.
