The team at our sister company Shoot First have made an Easter film for all their subscribers! 🐰
The idea for this film was actually inspired by working with Shoot First students, and seeing the struggle of learning VFX from nothing. Once you've started to get your head around basic compositing, suddenly you're doing 3D work, and then design, and then effects, and then sewing it all together!
I'm always trying to figure out how to make that journey smoother, and easier. But at the same time, I know that pain is built into the process. It's an inseparable part of the art of creation. So I can't take that away. All I can say, is that I think that it's worth it. And know that when you're suffering, you're not doing it alone.
Keep going.
So this is a film dedicated to each of you, that, even though it's only 1 minute long, was very painful to create! 🎥
