My dear Jade,

It’s been a year now. A year without you and your humor (maw), inspiration and strength in our lives. Of course you live on forever inside of our hearts, but wow, the gap you left behind when you left this earth is so incredibly big.

This track I created for you. And for all of the people that had to say goodbye to a loved one that was not supposed to go, yet. Too young, too unfortunate. We still wanted to have you here, celebrate you, and live on with you.

I am really not sure what I was supposed to learn from having to lose you so young, but I am so very grateful I got to be your sister. And grateful we were both courageous enough to trust and love each other, and break the intergenerational chain of pain. Coming from a narcissistic household this is a huge accomplishment. Because being a family member in itself does not mean you are to be trusted. You still have to actually be trustworthy.

I really hope there is a Miracle Place where you are now. Something that suits you perfectly. Somewhere your soul thrives.
