Massimo's grandparents opened the original shop in Lugo ( ) in 1953 and closed it at the end of the 90s. Since then, every time he traveled back to , he wondered about how to revive that legacy made of hats and history, not just of his family but also of postwar Italy, of the rise of Italian hats around the world, but also of its temporary decline.

Now, we feel so happy and proud when thinking that more than 250 of his grandfather hats are living with incredible people all around the world.

Our honest gratitude to all that people who have been supporting us from the beginning of questo nuestro piccolo sogno. Soon we'll be celebrating our 4th anniversary! 🙏 Some ideas?

Let me introduce you my dear friend "The thin man fixing umbrellas" . A common sight for those visiting the original shop in the 70s, the 80s and the 90s and for me since my childhood spent climbing wooden shelves full of hats. He never moved, always working with inexhaustible commitment in fixing poles and stretchers. Always looking at me, looking after me as my grandfathers did. All types of umbrella were sold in the shop.

He is not for sale. He is still working.

If you have any similar figure I would be incredibly glad to meet them!
