Jandek is the musical project of Sterling Smith, a Houston, Texas-based American lo-fi folk singer. Since 1978, Jandek has independently released over 120 albums while never intentionally granting an interview and providing no biographical information, releasing on a self-made label "Corwood Industries"

His record artworks often embody a raw, liminal, and enigmatic aesthetic, mirroring the unconventional and introspective nature of his music. These artworks serve as windows into the sonic landscapes Jandek explores, providing a visual portal for listeners to delve into the unique and thought-provoking musical experiences found in his discography.
