24 years around the sun last week. Here is a non-exhaustive list of things that marked this one:

- Got to scale my business and create some art with the homies any and everywhere
- Traded (most of) the late night benders for early morning runs and coffee
- Ran an impromptu marathon with my bros in Cape Town and then ran a lot more half-marathons around the globe
- Got to bring some of my homies on dream projects abroad
- Got to skydive & travel to some pretty epic places with the lads: Monaco, Fiji, LA, Barcelona…
- Got to pet some cute dogs on every single continent
- Resisted the urge to buy a labubu doll
- Lost a hat in Cape Town
- Decided to move out of Montreal pretty suddenly (more on this soon)
- DJed in a bakery in Paris, .at events in Bali and Barcelona (and more…) with some of my best friends

Jokes aside, every year has been transformational but even more so this one. I’ve never had a clearer picture of how I want to spend my 20s and live my life. And this is in large part because of a near-death experience back in LA. Only really opened up about this to a few people but that s**t was eye-opening. There was a 3s period where my life flashed before my eyes and to my surprise I somehow couldn’t help but be filled with this strange feeling of comfort… Comfort in knowing that I had lived a good life and that in that moment I had no regrets. This all felt like a second chance at life. My biggest fear has always been to die with regrets and this experience was a confirmation for me that I was on a good path and living life to the fullest.

My only birthday wish this year is for this to serve as a reminder for you to not fall for the doomer s**t. If you’re reading this, keep fighting the urge to take anything for granted, life is fu***ng electric. Smile at the cashier in the grocery store, talk to the dude sitting next to you on the plane, and hug your loved ones fu***ng tight. Spread love and positivity because it’s the strongest human frequency. You can’t add days to your life but you can add life to your days.
