I went a few weeks back with fellow print fans, mum and dad and we had an absolute blast. A mark of a great exhibition for me, is one that makes you want to be a better, more skilled maker and this one ticked every box - plus, did I mention it’s FREE?

DIYing the viral beaded blazer 🪡

These gorgeous beaded blazers have been popping up all over my social media and you know I love a viral craft so I just had to have a go!

I cannot stress how quick and beginner friendly this little upcycling project is too, all you need as beads and a dream ✨

I will say I’m not all the way convinced we’re done here - watch until the end to see the reveal and let me know if you would keep going or just leave it alone now!?

Is this the easiest sewing project ever!? 👀🪡

I’ve been seeing all of these gorgeous square tops all over my discover page and naturally I thought ‘I can make that’ so fast forward just a few hours and 1.5m of fabric from my stash and we now we might have the sewing project of the summer! 🏆

I’m seriously considering releasing this as a more detailed tutorial or pattern, should I do it!? Would you make one (hundred) of these!? 👀

Why buy Dior when you can DIY it!? 💅🏽🪡

The second I saw this £3,200 Dior jacket, I knew the little floral details were a must have for my own denim jacket!

I used some matching denim from an old pair of jeans and cut out a series of flowers in 3 different sizes before basting them in place and sewing them down using topstitching thread 🪡

I cannot stress how quick and beginner friendly this little upcycling project is, I won’t lie - I’m looking at all my collars differently now 👀

ICYMI, before I left I did the vinted sale to end all vinted sales and was left with over £1000 to spend (if I wanted to) on replacement craft materials taking into account all my learnings from my no spend year so far 🫣

Before I left, I made sure to do lots of research and kept the list of ‘gaps’ in my stash close by in my notes to keep me on brief whilst I got sucked in by all the beautiful shops.

I know lots of you were worried about me blowing all my cash and you’ll have to watch until the end to see if I did 👀
