Gis Lead JOB

Lead and work in with GIS teams to develop, test, Integrate, implement, and support solutions using GIS platforms like (ESRI,QGIS).
- Provide a superior level of experience and knowledge of the GIS platforms Such as Esri and QGIS to support team members through all phases of the delivery lifecycle.
- Responsible for ensuring an efficient of developing deliverables, timely builds, and overall code quality.
- Mentor and provide advice and guidance to team members on best practice.
- Guide requirements discussions with technology and business partners
- Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
- Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
- Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
- Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.
- Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance.
- Package and support deployment of releases.
- create and maintain the structures necessary for GIS data storage.
- develop tools for loading/transferring GIS data between different systems.
- manipulate, analyze, and present geographical information by creating programs to convert GIS information from one format to another.
- develop internet apps to present GIS data and tools on corporate websites.
- use tools to join different GIS datasets and create new information or investigate patterns.
- Review the training material and user manual and conducts package specific training for the client.
- Evaluate vendors in collaboration with the Pre-Sales team.
- Review/Compile the compliance Matrix to demonstrate the proposed solution based on the team capabilities.
- Act as the technical expert on the project and resolve any issues if raised.
- Participate in GIS team hiring. Personal Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred Computer Science or Engineering
- A Minimum 10 years of total experience
- 6 or more years of in GIS platforms
- Knowledge of specialized software packages such as ESRI ArcGIS and QGIS.
- At least 9-year experience in GIS.
- Hands on Python and/or JavaScript.
- Numerical skills with the ability to analyze data and statistics.
- The ability to translate client requirements into working solutions.
- Familiarity with Ordnance Survey mapping and digitizing techniques.
- GIS scripting / Programming Experience.
- GIS Integration with Another systems API like (PowerBI, Maximo)
- IT skills, including the use and manipulation of complex databases and spreadsheets.
- Strong personal ownership and ability to set and meet high professional standards, flexible and responsive work style. Technical Skills:
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent command of English

GIS Solution Engineer (GIS-SE)

Accountabilities and Duties:
Staying current on the latest technologies and industry best practices Understanding of sales and business development processes
Troubleshoot/investigate Complex ArcGIS Platform Problems.
Deploy and Configure ESRI ArcGIS Platform Deployment.
Participate in ESRI ArcGIS Platform architecture.
Provide the necessary support and training to other departments in the organization.
Coordinate an effective, efficient and robust Geospatial services to internal and external clients.
Ensure a high level of technical Geospatial consultation for internal and external project teams.
Manage, supervise and mentor other team members.
Integrate third party products to provide fully-fledged solutions that satisfies customers’ requirements.
Develop scripts using python and java script to be able to customize and automate GIS workflows.
Solve problems by creating and proposing technical solutions
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bsc. in computer science, engineering, GIS, or a related field
Knowledge of ESRI products is a must
Remarkable knowledge of database engines (SQL – Oracle – Postgre) – Replica (versions – Users – Roles)
Programming and scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Ability to travel inside Egypt or abroad, according to the client’s requirements and the agreed contract.
Remarkable presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills
Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas, whether to other technical peers or non-technical project managers or customers
presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills at the technical and executive level
Problem-solving skills and attention to details.
Experience managing and working with ArcGIS databases, data stores, repositories, and services
