Focus Camps

Meet our Speaker on Focus Families Sports Day; Dr. Marlene Bastawaros. She will be talking to us about what does it mean to be present as parents and give us practical advices on how to do that.

Dr. Marlene has been a practicing Psychiatrist for over twenty years. Her experience comes from working at Rakhawy, Behman, Abassia, and the University of Montpellier, France, and she has created two media programs that teach healthy parenting.

She is the author of "مشوار ام" and the founder of Towards Functional Families, which provides many programs to different family members to educate on healthy parenting and marriages. She has worked to create a curriculum of parenting, which has been spread across lectures and various mom groups as a way of teaching and supporting mothers.
