Role Overview

The Accounting & Financial Advisor will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the company, including financial planning, budgeting, accounting processes, and reporting. As a key financial leader, the role also involves offering strategic financial advice to the executive team to ensure sound financial decisions that align with business growth goals

Key Responsibilities

1- Accounting:

- Supervise and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and bank reconciliations

- Ensure compliance with local financial laws, regulations, and accounting standards

- Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports

- Maintain and improve accounting policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy

- Monitor the company’s financial status and liquidity, ensuring timely financial data for internal and external audits

2- Financial Reporting:

- Generate detailed financial reports and analyses for management review

- Provide insights on financial performance and key metrics to support decision-making.

- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes

3- Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Develop and maintain the annual budget and financial forecast

- Track variances between actuals and budget, and report on financial performance against forecasts

- Recommend cost-saving and revenue-enhancing measures based on budget analysis

4- Financial Advisory:

- Serve as the financial advisor to the executive team, offering insights on business risks and growth opportunities

- Advise on investments, profitability, and financial strategy to optimize the company's financial position

- Support in financial planning for new projects, including ROI calculations, cash flow analysis, and scenario modeling

5- Taxation & Compliance:

- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including VAT and corporate tax

- Keep updated on tax law changes and ensure the company is in full compliance with tax regulations

Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA is preferred)

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and finance

- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards,

and software development industry trends

- Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting

- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)

- Very good command in English written and spoken

- Strong communication and advisory skills with the ability to explain

complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, tech-oriented environment and handle multiple priorities

- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
