🌙 Sunnahs of Ramadan – Day 28 | Preparing for Eid

تهنئة المسلمين بعضهم بعضًا (exchanging congratulations among muslims)

عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ قَالَ كَانَ أَصْحَابُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا الْتَقَوْا يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ يَقُولُ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ تَقَبَّلَ اللَّهُ مِنَّا وَمِنْكَ.

Jubayr ibn Nufayr reported: The Companions of the Prophet (PBUH), when they met each other on the day of Eid, they would say to each other, “May Allah accept good deeds from us and from you.”

🌙 Sunnahs of Ramadan – Day 27 | Preparing for Eid

التكبير من غروب شمس آخر يوم من رمضان (takbir during the night of `Eid from sunset on the last day of Ramadan)

قال الله تعالى وَلِتُكْمِلُوا الْعِدَّةَ وَلِتُكَبِّرُوا اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَاكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ
سورة البقرة، الآية (185)

“..., so that you may complete the prescribed period and proclaim the greatness of Allah for guiding you, and perhaps you will be grateful”. Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse (185).

🌙 Sunnahs of Ramadan – Day 26 | Preparing for Eid

الأكل قبل الخروج لصلاة عيد الفطر (Eating before going out for Eid Al-Fitr prayer)

عن أنس رضي الله عنه:
«كان رسول الله ﷺ لا يغدو يوم الفطر حتى يأكل تمرات»

Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that “On the Day of Fitr, Allah's Prophet (PBUH) would not go out until he had eaten some dates”.

🌙 Sunnahs of Ramadan – Day 22

تحرّي ليلة القدر أثناء الاعتكاف (seeking laylat al-Qadr during i'tikaf)

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال:
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:
(من يقم ليلة القدر إيمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه).

Abu Hurairah narrated that:
the Prophet (PBUH) said, “Whoever stands (in the voluntary night prayer of) Ramadan out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven”.

Sunnahs of Ramadan – Day 21 🌙

أن يكون الاعتكاف في المسجد (i'tikf must be in mosque)

قال تعالى (وَلاَ تُبَاشِرُوهُنَّ وَأَنْتُمْ عَاكِفُونَ فِي الْمَسَاجِدِ تِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ فَلاَ تَقْرَبُوهَا كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ آيَاتِهِ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُون).

Do not be intimate with your spouses while you are meditating in the mosques. These are the limits set by Allah, so do not exceed them. This is how Allah makes His revelations clear to people, so they may become mindful [of Him].
