ARE THE PLAGUES IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION HAPPENING NOW?

This question has troubled many hearts. It has stirred fear in some and curiosity in others. Many are looking at the world today and asking quietly within themselves, is this it? Are we already living inside the judgments written in the Book of Revelation?

Let us not rush. Let us go deep. Let us allow the Word of God to speak for itself.

In the Book of Revelation chapter 6 to chapter 16, we see a series of events unfold. The seals are opened. The trumpets are sounded. The bowls of wrath are poured out. These are not ordinary events. These are intense, global, undeniable judgments. The kind that no one on earth will question.

Revelation 16:1 says, “Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.”

This is where we must begin to understand something very important.

There is a difference between warning signs and full judgment.

What we are seeing in the world today are signs. They are signals. They are birth pains. But they are not yet the fullness of the plagues described in Revelation.

Jesus spoke about this in Matthew 24:6 to 8. He said there will be wars, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes. Then He made it clear, these are the beginning of sorrows.

Beginning, not the end.

This means what we are seeing now is not the final plague but the shadow of what is coming.

Let us go deeper.

The plagues in Revelation are not small events. They are not local. They are not hidden. They are global, terrifying, and unmistakable. For example, in Revelation 16:3, the sea becomes like the blood of a dead man and every living creature in the sea dies. This has never happened in human history.

In Revelation 16:8 to 9, the sun scorches men with fire so intense that people are burned severely. This is beyond what we are seeing today.

In Revelation 9:15, a third of mankind is killed. Think about that. Not thousands. Not millions. A third of the entire human population.

These are not symbolic warnings. These are divine interventions.

So what are we seeing today?

We are seeing a world being shaken.

We are seeing diseases rise, like COVID-19, and people begin to ask questions. We are seeing natural disasters increasing. We are seeing fear growing in the hearts of men. We are seeing moral decay. We are seeing a global system slowly aligning.

But hear this truth very clearly.

These are not yet the plagues of Revelation. These are the alarms before the storm.

God does nothing without warning.

In Genesis, before the flood, God warned through Noah. In Egypt, before the plagues, God warned through Moses. Even now, before the final judgments, God is warning through His Word.

Revelation is not just a book of destruction. It is a book of mercy. Because before every judgment, there is always a call to repent.

Revelation 9:20 says something shocking. Even after severe judgments, many people still did not repent of their evil deeds.

This reveals a deep truth that many do not understand.

The greatest problem of man is not suffering. It is hardness of heart.

Even when God allows shaking, many people refuse to turn back to Him.

Now listen carefully.

The real question is not whether the plagues are happening now.

The real question is, are you ready if they begin?

Because when the true plagues of Revelation start, there will be no confusion. There will be no debate. The whole world will know that something beyond human control is taking place.

Right now, we are in a season of grace.

This is the time to align your life with God. This is the time to build your relationship with Christ. This is the time to prepare your heart.

Jesus said in Luke 21:36, “Watch therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass.”

He did not say ignore. He did not say argue. He said watch and pray.

The deepest truth many do not know is this.

Revelation is not meant to scare you. It is meant to prepare you.

God is not eager to destroy. He is patient, giving everyone a chance to repent.

But there is a limit to mercy when it is continually rejected.

So no, the full plagues of Revelation are not happening yet.

But the signs are speaking loudly.

The world is not normal anymore.

Something is approaching.

And those who are spiritually awake can feel it.

Do not wait until it is too late.

Draw close to God now. Strengthen your faith now. Live a life that pleases Him now.

Because when the fullness of these things begins, only those who are rooted in Christ will stand.
