Minister of petroleum weds longtime girlfriend, two years after proposing to her

On Saturday, September 2 2022, Petroleum Minister, Puot Kang Chol Liem got hitched to his heartthrob, Bazilika Nyamal Gatluak Deng, the Daughter of former Upper Nile Governor at a traditional wedding in Juba.

The young couples got engaged in 2020 when Pout Kong Chuol got on his knee to propose to Bazilika.

The ceremony was well attended by senior government officials, family members and friends.

According to a close family member, church wedding will take place on September 10th 2022 at All Saints Cathedral in Juba at 9:00 AM and the Reception will follow at 4:00 PM at Freedom Hall.

The public is invited to attend Freedom Hall reception.
