A Ride to The Saliba

مسجد قاني باي الرماح أنشأه قاني باي السيفي الشهير بـ "قاني باي الرماح" سنة 908 هجرية (1503م ).
هذا المسجد على نظام المدارس ذات التخطيط المتعامد إذ يشتمل على صحن مكشوف تحيط به أربعة إيوانات معقودة، وقد اختلف عما سبقه من مساجد المماليك الجراكسة في طريقة تسقيف إيواناته فبينما نرى أسقف المساجد التي أنشئت في هذا العصر اتخذت من الخشب وحليت بنقوش مذهبة جميلة نرى أسقف هذا المسجد اتخذت جميعها من الحجر على هيئة قبوات مختلفة الأشكال، فإيوان القبلة تغطيه قبة منبسطة من مداميك من الحجر الأبيض والأحمر على التعاقب .

The Qani Bay Al-Ramah Mosque is built by Qani Bay al-Sivii, famous for its "Qani Bay al-Ramah" in 908 Hijri (1503m).
This mosque has a system of schools with a deliberate planning, including an open plate surrounded by four days. Different from the previous mosques of the Mamluk, which are the same as the rooftops of the mosques established in this era, were made of wood and were carved with beautiful inscriptions, we see the roofs of this mosque, all of which were made of stone in the form of different kinds of bottles. The Qibla Fiwan is covered by a flat dome of white and red stone manifolds in succession.

يعتبر مسجد الأمير لاجين السيفى من المساجد الصغيرة الحجم، إذ يبلغ طوله 25 مترًا وعرضه 21 مترًا تقريبًا، ويتكون المسجد من صحن مكشوف يتوسطه يبلغ مساحته 6 × 9 من المتر، تنخفض أرضيته في باقى الأروقة، وتحيط به الأروقة من جميع الجهات.
The Prince Lajin Sivi Mosque is a small mosque with a length of 25 meters and a width of approximately 21 meters, and the mosque consists of a 6 x 9-meter long exposed plate whose land is reduced in the rest of the corridors, surrounded by corridors from all sides.
