Uncle Kosta
This morning’s breakfast sounded exactly like this…
That crackle.
That aroma.
That naturally fermented crumb.
At Uncle Kosta Pies, every loaf is handmade with patience, tradition, and a lot of love from Diana’s family baking roots from North Ossetia to Egypt.
Real bread takes time.
What started as family tradition in North Ossetia, Russia… found a second home in Egypt.
For Diana Tulatova, baking was never simply about food.
She grew up in a family where bread-making was deeply connected to culture, celebration, hospitality, and love.
Recipes were inherited.
Techniques were protected.
And every pie carried a story.
When Diana moved to Egypt nearly 10 years ago, she brought this tradition with her into her own home.
At first, she baked for family.
Then neighbors began asking.
Then friends.
Then friends of friends.
And somewhere between warm sourdough loaves, handmade pies, and fresh focaccia…
Uncle Kosta was born.
Every order is still made in small batches with patience, craftsmanship, and genuine love.
From North Ossetia to Egypt…
