في إطار ورشة عمل "أسس العلم المفتوح: المفاهيم والمبادئ والتنفيذ الإقليمي" (5 – 6 نوفمبر 2025)، يسعدنا أن نسلط الضوء على المنظمين الرئيسيين لهذا الحدث:

✨ مكتبة الإسكندرية ✨
أكثر من مجرد صرح ثقافي أو مكتبة ضخمة؛ كانت دائمًا نقطة التقاء للعلم والمعرفة، ومكانًا تتقاطع فيه الطموحات والأفكار من كل الاتجاهات. تلعب مكتبة الإسكندرية دورًا محوريًا في تعزيز التعاون الدولي وتبادل المعرفة، ومن خلال هذه الورشة تواصل مهمتها في نشر قيم العلوم المفتوحة وتعزيز التعاون الإقليمي.

✨ شبكة البحث والتعليم لدول العالم العربي (ASREN) ✨
تلعب ASREN دورًا محوريًا في تعزيز التعاون الإقليمي في مجال البحث والتعليم، ودعم الابتكار، وتبادل المعرفة بين الدول العربية. ومن خلال مشاركتها في تنظيم هذه الورشة، سيتم تعزيز مبادئ العلوم المفتوحة وتطبيقها على المستوى الإقليمي.

واليوم، نخطو خطوة جديدة نحو المستقبل، من خلال هذه الاتفاقية التي تجمعنا بهدف مشترك: أن نجعل العلم متاحًا للجميع، وأن نمنح الباحثين، خاصة في إفريقيا والعالم العربي، الأدوات التي يحتاجونها لينطلقوا في أبحاثهم، ويصنعوا التغيير في مجتمعاتهم.

As part of the Open Science Workshop (November 5–6, 2025), we are proud to highlight one of the main organizers of this event:

✨ Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) ✨
More than just a cultural institution or a grand library, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina has always been a meeting point for science and knowledge, a place where ambitions and ideas intersect from all directions. The BA plays a central role in promoting international cooperation and knowledge exchange. Through this workshop, it continues its mission to spread the values of Open Science and to strengthen regional collaboration.

✨ Arab States Research and Education Network (ASREN) ✨
ASREN plays a pivotal role in fostering regional cooperation in research and education, supporting innovation, and enabling knowledge exchange across Arab countries. Through its participation in organizing this workshop, the principles of Open Science will be further promoted and implemented on a regional level.

Today, we take a new step toward the future through this initiative that unites us under a shared goal: to make science accessible to all, and to empower researchers—especially in Africa and the Arab world—with the tools they need to advance their research and create change in their communities.
