Course Topics:
• Fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery: Identification and use of laparoscopic instruments.
• Laparoscopic setup, patient preparation, and positioning.
• Port insertion: Proper size, placement, and abdominal cavity inflation.
• Instrument handling and improving hand-eye coordination.
• Safe tissue grasping, cutting, and dissection.
• Suturing : Needle handling, intracorporeal and extracorporeal suturing.
• Knot tying, ligation, and drainage application.
• FLS mock exam training.
