I tasted the summer.
Estonian summer.

Last weekend, during a walk with our friends by the sea, we were lucky to find a few wild strawberries. 🍓
They are rare treasures of summer.
Since they are so tiny and few, you can never pick them in large quantities.
That's why we used to string them onto a blade of grass.
And you never eat them right away.
You may want to save them for later.
Or for someone you love.

Do you know the smell of a wild strawberry?
It’s wild, intoxicating, almost untamed.
They smell and taste sweet yet sharp, delicate yet powerful.
It’s the kind of fragrance that instantly pulls you back into warm pine forests and endless summer days.
And the scent and taste can drive you almost crazy with their intensity.

In Estonia, the wild strawberry is not just a taste of summer.
It’s often compared to Estonia itself: small, rare, and truly unforgettable.🇪🇪

For my non-Estonian friends, here’s how one of our former presidents, Toomas_Hendrik Ilves, once described it:
“Estonia is like a wild strawberry: pristine and small, difficult to find, and those who do not know how to, fail to recognise and value it. But once we possess it, once it is ours, then it is one of the best things of all. Our home is a wild strawberry field.”

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄!? 🤔

We hear it everywhere—“𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲.” “𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞.” “𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞.”
But are we sure? Is change always needed, or has it become a corporate buzzword we use without questioning its actual purpose and impact?

Before jumping into change, it’s worth taking a step back and asking:
🔹 Do we truly understand where we are now? What’s working, and what’s not?

🔹 Is change indeed the best path, or do we need consistency and depth instead?

🔹 Are we changing for growth or just for the sake of it? Not all change is progress.

The key is intentionality—knowing when to adapt and when to stay the course.

Are you truly a professional?

We call ourselves professionals in our fields, but what does that really mean?
Is it about having the right qualifications? Years of experience?
Or is it something deeper?
Can professionalism exist without integrity, adaptability, or passion for one’s work?

Is it that, in the end, being a professional is less about what you have on your résumé and more about who you are when you show up every day? 🌟👤
