How do you deliver a complete sorting line under pressure? 💎
When we started designing this packaging waste sorting line, the schedule was tight from day one. The target completion time was 18 months, but Ecoservice needed results faster.
That meant construction, engineering, and installation had to occur simultaneously. Equipment was delivered and mounted before parts of the building were completed. In one case, a drum screen had to be lowered through a partially finished roof with only centimeters to spare.
Azortum designed a compact, high-capacity sorting system that made full use of the available floor space. Next to the drum screen, the line also brings together optical sorters, eddy-current separators, and magnetic separators, all of which create a single efficient material flow. Fire detection and suppression systems were also built in from the start to meet strict safety requirements.
The result is a plant that sorts packaging waste into 10 clean fractions and prepares Ecoservice for future recycling demand, operating reliably and continuously under heavy load.
