ekip next stop: the ekip academy.

From 1–4 June 2026, ekip will host its first Academy in Tallinn, a four-day, in-person programme for teams shaping innovation policy across cities and regions.

The Academy is designed for teams of three working on real policy challenges. Not to discuss innovation in theory, but to shape it in practice. Over four days, teams will work with:

– open innovation methods
– ecosystem-level policy tools
– cultural and creative industries as part of the system

Tallinn offers the right context: a city with deep experience in digital transformation, experimentation, and cross-sector collaboration.

Creatives are the missing piece.
In Tallinn, we work on what that means in practice.

We are proud to celebrate the journey of RECHARGE: three years of work and exploration, to understand how to RECHARGE culture from within.

From innovative tools to inspiring participatory experiments, RECHARGE has helped museums and heritage institutions across Europe rethink sustainability, co-create with citizens, and connect more meaningfully with their communities.

On 11 September 2025, the Museo del Tessuto in Prato hosted our final event – a day of insights, dialogue, and collaboration. Highlights included:
Presentations from nine Living Labs showcasing participatory practices across Europe; the launch of the RECHARGE Playbook, a practical guide now available in English and Italian; reflections from cultural leaders, researchers, and policymakers on the future of cultural participation.

The day concluded with a roundtable discussion that highlighted strategies to sustain RECHARGE’s legacy, strengthen networks, and foster new European collaborations.

You can revisit the full day’s sessions on our diary: https://recharge-culture.eu/processes/diary/f/3/posts/141

All videos from the day can be found in this Vimeo showcase: https://vimeo.com/showcase/11900432

A warm thank you to all our partners, collaborators, and participants for making this journey so impactful. Together, we have shown how participation can recharge culture.
