New mic demo just dropped and this one's a piece of history 🎙️

The legendary RCA 44-BX, a true vintage ribbon classic from the early 1950s, takes the spotlight in our latest demo video across a few real-world recording situations.

We recorded female vocals by Pille-Riin Karro (ELLIP), male vocals by Heldur Harry Põlda and acoustic guitar by Andre Maaker. The acoustic guitar played in this video is a custom made jumbo model by Sinisalu Guitars.

The mission: explore how seven decades of mojo translate to a modern recording, from contrasting vocal textures to the natural dynamics and harmonic richness of acoustic guitar.

The verdict? That unmistakable 44-BX signature, silky warmth, a smooth midrange that just sits right and rich vintage character you can't fake with a plugin.
