In the framework of the "Soundfields" project so far we had 2 creative spatial audio workshops in Estonia and Lithuania together with educators from Tallinn and Vilnius. Final workshop in Latvia led by Gustavs Lociks will happen on October 1-3 in cooperation with UPDATE festival in Liepāja. https://updatefestival.lv/workshops/ -soundscapes-en
The workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those looking to expand their knowledge in the audio field. No prior experience with ambisonics or extensive DAW knowledge is required, but basic computer skills and an interest in sound are essential.

Eesti Elektroonilise Muusika Selts presents lecture by Otto Iivari in Tallinn Composing spatial electroacoustic music- Otto Iivari

This lecture will center around Otto Iivari’s artistic research project that approaches 3-d sound production and composition through Rudolf von Laban’s principles of choreography and expressive human movement, using his awarded composition Weightless as an example.
