This was the case in our collaboration with NCA Arquitectura for the Templo Alianza competition, where a key image led to improvements that helped us win. How do you use images in your creative process?

Así fue en nuestra colaboración con NCA Arquitectura para el concurso del Templo Alianza, donde una imagen clave impulsó mejoras que nos llevaron a ganar. ¿Cómo usas tú la imagen en tu proceso creativo?

¿Cómo comunicar un proyecto cuando su escala es tan grande que ni un dron podría captarla? Más que mostrar un render, se trata de construir una imagen que explique el territorio y sitúe la propuesta dentro de él. En Pinxcel realizamos esta imagen para el Sampson & York Corridor en Houston, partiendo de una vista satelital de Google Earth combinada con un render 3D. El objetivo era comunicar el proyecto sin perder el contexto, destacando el área de intervención. El resultado ayuda a imaginar cómo se transforma la ciudad. ¿Cómo comunicarías tú un proyecto de esta escala? ¿Con un enfoque más realista o más ilustrativo?

How do you communicate a project when its scale is so large that even a drone couldn’t capture it? More than just showing a render, it’s about creating an image that explains the territory and situates the proposal within it. At Pinxcel, we created this image for the Sampson & York Corridor in Houston, starting from a satellite view from Google Earth combined with a 3D render. The goal was to communicate the project without losing its context, highlighting the area of intervention. The result helps imagine how the city transforms. How would you communicate a project of this scale? With a more realistic or a more illustrative approach?
