How to Adapt the school manual to the program ?

1- Check the PROGRAM (curriculum & Support document) and what are the learning objectives ( function + grammar + lexis + pronunciation) to be taught mentioned in the PLANNING LEARNING

2- Decide what type of lesson to deliver depending on your learners needs
a) oral practice opt for PPU speaking +adapting the school manual tasks

b) PDP reading or listening if your learners have enough baggage to deal with such receptive skill + adapting the manual tasks that suit the lesson

3- Exploiting the same previous material in previous lessons ( review/ learners feed back) in order to create a CONTEXT to teach GRAMMAR in inductive way using (my) PIASP teaching method +adapting the school manual’s tasks

4- Exploiting the same previous material or in context to teach pronunciation ( PPU or PIASP)+ adapting the school manual’s tasks

5- Re-invest all what was taught in previous lessons to deal with the SITUATION OF INTEGRATION « writing process”
