An old woman wanted to cross a road.
একজন বুড়ি রাস্তা পার হতে চাইল।
She was weak. Therefore she wanted help.
সে দুর্বল ছিল। তাই সে সাহায্য চেয়েছিল।
She waited long. She waited alone.

She saw a large number of school boys They were laughing and talking
সে দেখেছে অনেক গুলো স্কুল ছেলে তারা হাসছিল আর কথা বলছিল
They were going home. So they were happy.
তারা বাড়ি যাচ্ছিল. তাই তারা খুশি ছিল
They looked at the old woman. They did not help her.
তারা বুড়িকে দেখেও তারা তাকে সাহায্য করেনি
They walked on.
তারা হেটে চলে যায়
But one boy went to the old woman. He said to her, “Mother! Do you want to cross the road?
কিন্তু এক ছেলে বুড়ির কাছে গেল। তিনি তাকে বললেন, “মা! আপনি কি রাস্তা পার হতে চান?
I will help you. I will take you to the other side."
আমি আপনাকে সাহায্য করব. আমি আপনাকে ওপারে নিয়ে যাব।"

The boy helped the old woman. He led her across the road.
ছেলেটি বুড়িকে সাহায্য করল। সে তাকে রাস্তা জুড়ে নিয়ে গেলেন।
He did a good deed

He was happy. He said, “I helped somebody’s mother

“Dear allah! Be kind to this good boy," said the old woman in her prayer.

Bunny rabbit lived in the forest. He had many friends. He was proud of his friends. One day Bunny rabbit heard the loud barking of wild dogs. He was very scared. He decided to ask for help. He quickly went to his friend deer. He said, "Dear friend, some wild dogs are chasing me. Can you chase them away with your sharp antlers?"

The deer said, "That is right, I can. But now I am busy. Why don't you ask bear for help?"

Bunny rabbit ran to the bear. "My dear friend, you are very strong. Please help me. Some wild dogs are after me. Please chase them away," he requested to the bear.

The bear replied, "I am sorry. I am hungry and tired. I need to find some food. Please ask the monkey for help."

Poor Bunny went to the monkey, the elephant, the goat and all his other friends. Bunny felt sad that nobody was ready to help him.

He understood that he had to think of a way out by himself. He hid under a bush. He lay very still. The wild dogs did not find the bunny. They went chasing other animals.

Bunny rabbit learnt that he had to learn to survive by himself, not depending on his unhelpful friends.

Moral: It is better to rely on yourself than depend on others.

খরগোশ বনে থাকত। তার অনেক বন্ধু ছিল। সে তার বন্ধুদের নিয়ে গর্বিত ছিল। একদিন খরগোশ বুনো কুকুরের ঘেউ ঘেউ শুনতে পেল। তিনি খুব ভয় পেয়েছিলেন। সে সাহায্য চাওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে। সে দ্রুত তার বন্ধু হরিণের কাছে গেল। তিনি বললেন, "প্রিয় বন্ধু, কিছু বন্য কুকুর আমাকে তাড়া করছে। তুমি কি তোমার ধারালো শিং দিয়ে তাদের তাড়াতে পারবে?"

হরিণ বলল, "ঠিক আছে, আমি পারব। কিন্তু এখন আমি ব্যস্ত। তুমি ভালুকের কাছে সাহায্য চাও না কেন?"

ভাল্লুক উত্তর দিল, "আমি দুঃখিত। আমি ক্ষুধার্ত এবং ক্লান্ত। আমার কিছু খাবার খুঁজে বের করতে হবে। দয়া করে বানরের কাছে সাহায্যের জন্য বলুন।"

গরীব খরগোশ বানর, হাতি, ছাগল এবং তার অন্যান্য বন্ধুদের কাছে গেল। খরগোশ দুঃখ অনুভব করেছিল যে কেউ তাকে সাহায্য করতে প্রস্তুত ছিল না।

তিনি বুঝতে পেরেছিলেন যে তাকে নিজেই একটি উপায় ভাবতে হবে। সে একটা ঝোপের নিচে লুকিয়ে ছিল। সে খুব স্থির হয়ে শুয়েছিল। বন্য কুকুররা খরগোশের সন্ধান পায়নি। তারা অন্য প্রাণীদের তাড়া করতে গেল।

খরগোশ খরগোশ শিখেছিল যে তাকে তার অসহায় বন্ধুদের উপর নির্ভর না করে নিজের দ্বারা বেঁচে থাকতে শিখতে হবে।

নৈতিকতা: অন্যের উপর নির্ভর করার চেয়ে নিজের উপর নির্ভর করা ভাল।
