Opening Ceremony – GEW Algeria 2025 🇩🇿

GEW Algeria 2025 was officially launched Under the High Patronage of the Prime Minister, marking a decisive moment for Algeria’s entrepreneurial movement under this year’s theme: “Together, we build.”

Cheikh Mohamed Mamoune El Kacimi El Hassani, Rector of the Great Mosque, Djamaâ El-Djazaïr, reminded that “the mind is the true capital” and underscored the ethical foundations of entrepreneurship, affirming Algeria’s shift toward a sustainable, knowledge-driven future.

Mr. Minister كمال بداري Kamel Baddari highlighted that “New Algeria” places innovation and entrepreneurship at the center of national development, with universities playing a growing role in achieving the 2029 goal of 20,000 startups.

Mr. Minister Moustafa Hidaoui مصطفى حيداوي affirmed that this prominent event comes in the context of supporting and promoting the entrepreneurship system and enhancing the culture of innovation and initiative among the youth, considering them the main actors in building a national economy based on creativity and seizing opportunities.

Mr. Minister نور الدين واضح - Noureddine Ouadah reaffirmed Algeria’s trust in its youth and called for stronger integration between universities, training centers, and the knowledge economy — setting the bold ambition for Algeria to rank first worldwide in GEW participation.

Ms. Soumeya Rachedi, Interim Managing Director of GEN Algeria, emphasized that GEW has become a strategic pillar of Algeria’s transformation, powered by 15 years of nationwide mobilization and strong collaboration across ecosystem actors.

Mr. Bilal Achacha, Director General of NESDA, and Ms. Souad Bendjemil, Director General of ANGEM, presented their agencies’ flagship programs and shared an ambitious vision for Algeria to reach first place globally in GEW participation.
