Honestly, I wasn't planning on doing it but this one fell right in with the Meta and TikTok feud and I couldn't resist doing it. You don't know what I'm talking about? I explain to you 👇:

If you haven't heard of the latest feud from the giants, The Washington Post recently shared an article that is causing a stir in the media world.

What happened ?

According to the two journalists, Meta hired **Targeted Victory,** a top consulting firm which in turn encouraged the publication of defamatory content such as articles that position ByteDance's daughter company as a risk to teenagers Americans.

Worse still, the campaign allegedly included spreading fake news to harm the company by attributing the appearance of certain unhealthy challenges like ''slapping a teacher'' to Tik tok when it was not asking for the case (l Insider team was able to prove that the latter appeared on Facebook).

Challenges aside, the article is very interesting because it really goes into detail and highlights how the consulting firm implemented its strategy.

To conclude, we know full well that lobbying is commonplace among the , but Facebook may have pushed things too far this time. What do you think ?
