Chief Executive Officer of the Dominica Air and Seaport Authority(DASPA) Benoit Bardouille has announced that two regional air and sea carriers have extended considerations to Dominica to facilitate travel in and out of the country.

On Monday Bardouille informed the nation via radio that Regional airline LIAT has agreed to put in extra flights into Guadeloupe connecting passengers to the Ferry Service on L'express Des Isles. He said the airline has agreed to reduce the cost of the travel tickets from Guadeloupe from 99 Euros to 60 Euros per passenger.

Additionally Bardouille announced that (2) two LIAT officers have been stationed at the Ferry Terminal in Roseau to assist passengers who wish to confirm their travel itineraries and ensure that they have a smooth transfer. Meanwhile Bardouille announced that WINAIR is currently operating Aircrafts from St. Maarten to Canefield airport.
