My daughter started her new school here in the US last week. She’s 15 and this is her 7th school 😳🤔

Even though she is used to being “the new girl” it’s still a big transition—leaving friends behind and starting over again.

To make her afternoons a bit special, I’ve been preparing some of her favorite foods for when she comes home. A smoothie bowl with berries topped with my homemade fermented granola is definitely high on her list💕

Thankfully, school seems to be going well so far 🤞🏻🤞🏻 And I’ll probably be showing my love in the coming weeks by cooking even more of her favorites 😜😋

Back on my mat — and under the redwoods 🌲💜🤩

After weeks of doing short, improvised yoga sessions on rugs, patio furniture and grass… 😬 I’m finally reunited with my favorite mat from . My mat didn’t make it in the suitcase when we moved from Denmark to California three weeks ago — and I’ve truly missed it. Not just for the cushion and non-slip support but mainly for the way it helps set the space for my yoga practice.

Even though I’m a yoga teacher, I often love being guided by others — especially during big life transitions. One of my favorite YouTube channels is (who actually used to teach here in the Bay Area✨). I love their creativity and genuine content. Today I did a 20 minute morning practice which was a perfect way to get the day started.

By the way… it’s nearly impossible to keep my eyes closed during shavasana when this is the view from my mat 🥹

The garden is generously offering fresh flowers and berries every day 😋🍓🫐

Today I decided to try making a brownie with back beans. It turned out much better than expected and on a more important note was approved my 🤩

“Vanillekranse” 🤩.
Last batch of these sweet and crunchy traditional danish Christmas cookies are in the making.
Most of the cookies are already sold in advance. DM me before Wednesday if you’d like to pick up your own bag(s) of Danish vanilla crowns in West U or Katy this week.

The crowns are made with pure organic ingredients and no additives. Only 6 ingredients go into this cookie dough:
All purpose flower, cane sugar, butter (from grass fed cows), almonds, egg and vanilla bean.

The process of running the dough through and old fashioned meat grinder brings me right back to my grandma’s kitchen in the 80’s (see picture 3).
A huge thank you to for the beautiful pictures.

Tonight my daughters and I each made our own homemade oil diffuser. The one I made for our living room has rose 🌹 and bergamot.
Thank you for the inspiration 🙏 and to JJD for supplying our all time favorite oil.
If they work as we intend they’ll be up for grabs soon😊.
