While we commence the new semester and welcome new and old students at CBS, the faculty of CBS LAW has been busy during the summer with a significant number of publications published in Danish as well as international journals. Furthermore, the faculty has also participated in numerous internal and external seminars and conferences sharing their research and insights within their fields of expertise. A great beginning of the new semester with much to look forward to.

We are looking forward to hosting the 15th Anniversary EIPTN EIPTN Conference on October 06 – 07 2023 in Denmark at Copenhagen Business School this year together with Associate Professor Vishv Priya Kohli. The theme is ‘ Sustainability and Diversity in Intellectual Property Teaching’.

The annual EU conference of EUROPEAN INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY TEACHERS NETWORK LTD (EIPTN) is supported by the EUIPO - European Union Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office. This year, we have an impressive lineup of distinguished speakers from different European Universities, as well as EUIPO, EPO and 4iP Council for Europe, which supports research for promoting the IP culture at universities.

Den 21. april kan du blive klogere på de gode norske erfaringer med brug af projektintegreret mediation (PRIME) i nogle af deres største infrastrukturprojekter og deres anvendelighed i Danmark.

Professor Kim Østergaard og Ph.d.-Stipendiat Frederik Skamris Holm fra CBS LAW vil sammen sætte rammerne for seminaret, hvor du kan høre mere om:
- Strategisk konflikthåndtering og proaktiv konfliktforebyggelse ved Thomas Samsø Bloch fra CPH Mediation & Negotiation
- De gode erfaringer med PRIME fra Norge ved Karin Kaasen fra Bane NOR og Cathrine Murstad fra Nye Veier AS
- Hvordan du kan bruge on-boarding processen som konfliktforebyggende tiltag ved Mie Andersen og Jan Buur Frederiksen fra Center for Ejendomme, Region Hovedstaden

Seminaret vil slutte af med netværk med kaffe, vin, vand og snacks.

Det er helt gratis at deltage, men der er kun et begrænset antal pladser. Seminaret starter klokken 13:00 og foregår på Solbjerg Plads, Copenhagen Business School. Tilmelding sker forneden.

Seminar om Projektintegreret Mediation | Copenhagen Business School Projektintegreret Mediation - de norske erfaringer og anvendelighed i Danmark: Projektintegreret Mediation (PRIME) er en metode til at forebygge og håndtere konflikter i større bygge- og anlægsprojekter.

CBS LAW Newsletter for February 2023:

The spring semester has begun with impressive accomplishments for CBS LAW. Professor WSR Peter Koerver Schmidt is co-applicant on the project 'The Entrepreneurial Age: Rethinking Entrepreneurship in Society', which has been awarded a generous grant from Carlsbergfondet. Congratulations to all involved parties. Further, faculty members have been prominent in the media and in presenting their research at conferences, and, while we enjoy the spring, we look into an exciting pipeline of interesting seminars.
