Nine years ago, I joined the Goodwill Ambassador Programme of Copenhagen — a community of Danes abroad committed to building bridges between Denmark and the world.

For me, this role carries deep personal meaning. Denmark gave me the most solid foundation for life: trust as the default, equal opportunities for all, the freedom to be yourself, and a strong sense of purpose and community. These values are not just abstract words — they are the roots that have shaped who I am.

Being part of the programme allows me to give something back to the country that gave me so much. It’s also a powerful reminder of the role diasporas can play: when people abroad stay engaged, they carry their country’s values, networks, and reputation across borders.

After 9 years, my gratitude has only deepened. Giving back is more than a responsibility — it’s a privilege. 🇩🇰✨

This year, our annual dinner was held at the beautiful Copenhagen City Hall, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Joachim, patron of the Goodwill Ambassador Corps. We also had the honour of celebrating former U.S. Ambassador Rufus Giffoed, who received the 2025 Goodwill Ambassador Award for his outstanding work in promoting Denmark abroad.

Quelle joie d’avoir participé au congrès annuel de Relais et Châteaux, à Copenhague. Depuis que je suis enfant, le monde de l’hôtellerie me fait rêver et j’ai eu la chance de pourvoir travailler dans cet univers magique pendant 10 ans ✨

Relais et Châteaux est avant tout une histoire de passionnés. C’est une grande famille, unie par des valeurs communes qui transcendent les frontières et les cultures. Un engagement pour l'authenticité. Une passion pour l'art de vivre. J’ai été très touchée par toutes ces belles rencontres durant ces trois jours à Copenhague.

Un grand bravo à toute l’équipe de pour cet évènement auquel j’étais très fière de participer en tant que conférencière sur le bien-être et la performance.

Un joli moment partagé à l’université de Grenoble, à l’occasion de la journée de l’innovation, avec Rebecca Shankland, chercheuse en psychologie du développement et responsable de l’observatoire du bien-être à l’école.

Ce qui me touche le plus chez Rebecca, c’est son engagement sans faille pour l’amélioration du bien-être et l’épanouissement des élèves, au travers de méthodes et d’outils innovants, comme l’empathie. Des outils dont les bénéfices dépassent d’ailleurs largement les bancs de l’école, pour se diffuser et servir à toute la société, y compris aux entreprises.

L’observatoire du bien-être, dont Rebecca Shankland est responsable, apporte d’ailleurs dans ce domaine une contribution majeure. C’est un organisme à la pointe des méthodes éducatives, qui entend concevoir les méthodes d’enseignement de demain, à redéfinir l’approche de l’éducation, dont la France peut-être fière. Rebecca Shankland y a ouvert des perpectives prometteuses dans le suivi et l’analyse du bien-être à l’école, et à une meilleure compréhension des divers facteurs qui influent sur le bien-être des élèves, tels que le climat scolaire, l'inclusion sociale, et l'importance d'un soutien adéquat.

Très heureuse donc, de cette journée de réflexion et de discussion à l’université, où nous avons pu aborder des notions telle que la sécurité psychologique, qui vont bien au-delà des livres et des manuels, et qui visent à former des citoyens équilibrés, résilients et épanouis. 😇🙏🏻🍀

I am honored to have been part of the visit of the Minister of Education in Copenhagen to look at the Danish methods against bullying in schools. We had the great pleasure of meeting HRH Crown Princess Mary who’s initiative has shown fantastic results in developing tolerance, care and empathy in schools to reduce bullying. We also visited a Danish school to see how developing trust and empathy in children is at the very heart of the Danish educational system in general. I am proud to carry a project in France together with the to test mandatory empathy classes in two schools in Paris at College Jacques Prevert and Maurice Utrillo☺️ I am thrilled with the Minister of Education’s strong engagements to integrate some of these initiatives around empathy in France 🇫🇷❤️
