Have you met YONT STUDIO?

Today we are opening a site specific marble DJ booth at LABottega made as a part of YONT’s residency at OUTSIDERS.

YONT is a Berlin-based creative studio working across interiors, objects, set design, and spatial experiences, with a focus on sound culture, domestic life, retail, and temporary events.

For OUTSIDERS in Pietrasanta, YONT designed a modular lisentning bar from locally sourced marble tile offcuts. The piece moves between DJ booth, reception counter, and furniture system, translating the architecture of the nearby marble quarries into a sculptural object for listening and daily use.

The marble comes from leftover pieces from the refurbishing of the house of founder of Bloc Studios, Sara Ferron. The tiles were removed from the 1st floor of the house that used to be her grandmothers.

We hope that Sara’s grandmother would love the party tonight celebrating her new DJ booth.

For the cultural festival Heartland 2026, we created this site-specific installation.

Constructed from timber logs that are stacked, layered, and interwoven, the piece forms a monumental sculptural artwork while simultaneously serving as seating for festival guests. The installation creates a shared spatial experience - a sculptural gathering place within the festival landscape.

By working with timber in its pure, natural form, we aim to strengthen the connection between visitors and their surroundings. This relationship with nature is central to Heartland, set within the beautiful landscape surrounding Egeskov Castle.
