Back with in Belgium ❤️💛
Saturday didn’t feel like I was back racing, but just back participating. Legs weren’t good enough for the front of the bunch, head wasn’t ready for the chaos in middle of the bunch, so hung around the back an awful lot! Sunday was better, and tried my best, to take some wind for my teammates, and like to think I played a small role in Anniina’s win 🥇🎉

These were the last two races I did before my maternity leave last year. Almost a year ago to the date. I was a few days late on my period, and had a feeling I might be pregnant. I remember wanting to make the most out of the races and make sure I gave everything I had to the team, if I wouldn’t be racing for awhile. It was a 🥇🥈 weekend for the team. Just like this one. I was home at 1am and took a pregnancy test. It was positive. This year, I got to finish the races, then go cuddle Alfred. Full circle ⭕️🤍
