Thanks to all of you that voted for us - unfortunately we were in competition with a much more well-known company (that were originally specializing in remote keyboards for church organs) so we did not get the TEC award this time.

Above image shows me and my friend and US distributor, Frank Oglethorpe, at the red carpet at the entrance for the show.

I can report back that the food was decent, the (free) bar was above expectations (which were high already), and the entertainment was meh outside of their really great drummer that I unfortunately did not catch the name on..
.so now I need to come up with something new again - I most definitely NEED to get a TEC at some point..

I'm excited to share some fantastic news with you all! Our latest creation at Gyraf Audio, the G25 "VocalShape," has been nominated for a TEC Award in the "Microphone Preamplifiers" category. This nomination is a dream come true for me, and I would greatly appreciate your support.

About the G25 "VocalShape":

The G25 is a carefully curated all-in-one recording channel, specifically optimized for capturing vocal performances. It combines the best features from several of our previous designs:

- Tube-based mic preamp (inspired by G9)
- Linear tilt equalizer (from G23)
- Vari-mu compressor (based on G22)
- Frequency-selective clipper (derived from G21)

While it's designed primarily for vocals, we also included a front panel instrument jack because the preamp sounds incredible with bass guitar and certain synths.

How to Vote:

Voting opens today, December 12th, and here’s how you can participate:

2. Navigate to the "Microphone Preamplifiers" category.
3. Find the Gyraf G25 "VocalShape" and cast your vote.
4. Remember to press "Submit" at the bottom of each category page you vote on to ensure your selections are counted!
5. Finally, when finished, make sure to click the "View Summary/Record Vote" link at the top or bottom of the page on the left. **Please note:** Your vote is NOT recorded unless you click this link.

The entire voting process should take about 4-5 minutes, depending on your interest in other categories. And even though they ask for your email address to register, I have not experienced any attempts of spamming from there, so I believe this to be safe.

A Personal Note:

Winning a TEC Award has been a long-held dream of mine since the 1980s, and this is my second nomination (the first was for the G23-S in 2020). Your support would mean so much to me and everyone at Gyraf Audio.
