Natural Power and Bonheur co-invest in New Power Partners and Site Solution Partners via NPP Renewables.

New Power Partners’ and Natural Power’s combined advisory, project management and engineering expertise in the development, construction, and operational phases of renewable projects provide strong opportunities for the two organizations to grow by supporting each other in products, services, and geographical reach.

Natural Power has acquired 25.5% alongside the Norwegian stock-listed company Bonheur ASA, having also acquired 25.5% of the shares in NPP Renewables. Founding partners, Thomas Gellert, Tonni Bager and Peter Forsberg will continue to manage and develop the business, whilst the NPP group will retain its corporate identity and continue to operate as an independent company.

From Dubai to the Changfang and Xidao offshore wind farm

A few weeks ago our partner Thomas Gellert and Installation Manager Vincent Cliquet, together with Boskalis Project Director André Andringa, visited the shipyard Drydocks World in Dubai to witness the progress of the Boskalis’ conversion of the vessel Yan into the floating crane vessel Bokalift 2.

The conversion of the vessel will see Bokalift 2 being equipped with a 4,000t. crane as well as an enlarged and reinforced deck, new propulsion and numerous other changes. The Bokalift 2 conversion was announced in October 2019 and the vessel will be deployed for the first time at the Changfang and Xidao offshore wind farm project in Taiwan where New Power Partners has been involved since 2017. The vessel will be used for foundation installation on the project.
