THEATER BRIGADE

We are very lucky and happy to have a part of the Badisches Staatstheater again to perform two shows at our theater floor BRIGADE. This year’s piece is going to be a musical based on John Cameron Mitchell's and Stepehn Trask’s stage musical „Hedwig and the Angry Inch“, it accompanies Hedwig Robinson, a genderqueer East-German singer of a fictional rock band. It’s going to be loud and colorful!

NEWA, Ana Kublashvili, was born and raised in Tbilisi and has become one of the most exciting characters of the Georgian techno scene. Inspired by classical music and Georgian folklore, her unique productions are evolving through organic ambient trips and underground techno cuts. Her music is released via her own imprint Icon Trax as well as labels such as Klockworks, Reclaim Your City, Semantica and Bassiani’s own imprint, where she has recently become a resident. We are more than excited to have NEWA as our guest at SOMEDATE all the way from Tbilisi!
