True peace, nature, rest and relaxation await at Praia do Soba 🌊

Waves rolling onto the shore, the whisper of the desert wind, and the quiet that comes from being far away from the everyday.

Set between the Atlantic Ocean and the striking sandstone landscapes of Namibe Province, this intimate eco-retreat is where desert, beach and sea come together in perfect harmony. It’s a place to disconnect from the world and reconnect with what really matters.

📍 Travel note: Praia do Soba is around 80 km from the city of Namibe. Access is via desert tracks, so a 4×4 vehicle (such as a Toyota Land Cruiser) is strongly recommended, and it’s best visited as part of an organised trip with an experienced local guide or tour operator.

We're incredibly proud to see Angola recognised by the ATTA - African Travel & Tourism Association as one of Africa's Top Destinations to Watch in 2026 🙌 🇦🇴

This recognition reflects a growing desire for travel that is authentic, meaningful and filled with unforgettable experiences. From the rich heritage of M'banza Kongo and the wild beauty of Iona National Park to the breathtaking Kalandula Falls and the warmth of its people, Angola offers a journey unlike anywhere else.

The announcement follows an inspiring week at Experience Africa in London, where our UK representatives, KLEBER GROUP, connected with tour operators, travel advisors and media from across the industry.

As investment in tourism, accessibility and conservation continues, we're excited to see more travellers discover the rhythm of life that makes Angola one of Africa's most exciting emerging destinations.

Here's to the next chapter for one of Africa's most exciting emerging destinations! ✨🇦🇴

Not every day you get the chance to stand at the foot of one of Africa’s largest waterfalls 🥾 💦

At Kalandula Falls, the adventure doesn’t stop at the viewpoint.

Follow the trail down through lush forest and you’ll be rewarded with something few travellers ever experience: the thunder of the water, the cool mist on your skin, and a front-row view of one of Angola’s most spectacular natural wonders.

The best part? You may have the experience almost entirely to yourself. While many of Africa’s iconic waterfalls attract huge crowds, Kalandula remains refreshingly uncrowded, making every step feel like you’ve discovered a hidden wonder.

Trust us, this steep descent is worth every step!

⚠️ Important: This trail should only be undertaken with an experienced local guide from Kalandula Falls. The route becomes very wet, muddy and slippery as you approach the falls, and sections can be challenging. A good level of fitness is essential to complete the hike safely.

Would you take the trail to experience Kalandula Falls from below? 👇

Two weeks. One unforgettable journey through Angola 🇦🇴

One day, you’re standing beside lush waterfalls surrounded by emerald-green landscapes. A few days later, you could be crossing vast desert plains where towering dunes meet the Atlantic Ocean! Along the way, the scenery shifts constantly, revealing a side of Africa that few travellers have ever experienced.

The people will welcome you with genuine warmth, they’ll be roadside encounters that will turn into unforgettable memories, and there will be unforgettable moments that offer a glimpse into raw, authentic Africa, beyond the usual tourist trail.

Angola challenges your assumptions, broadens your perspective, and rewards those willing to venture beyond the familiar.

For curious travellers, adventurous spirits, and those searching for somewhere truly different, this is the ultimate African adventure.

Would you spend two weeks exploring Angola? 👇
