Today marks the 10th anniversary of the Whiskey Bar EP release.

I’m still thrilled when I think back to the recording sessions with Maurice at my local bar, Hannebambel. Big thanks as well to Philipp Welsing for the brilliant mastering. Huge thanks to Florian for his rolling banjo that gave the song its special vibe.

Biggest cheers to Vicky for the iconic artwork (btw, the photos in these slides are hers, too)— I still love the design! Shoutout to my close friend Daniel for the incredible cover photo (and all the many shoots we’ve had since). Hollas to my boy Dirk, who hosted the release show in his old store, Gentlemens Skateshop.

Last but not least: thank you to everyone who put Whiskey Bar on their speakers and sang along. You’ve been part of this journey from the start. Cheers to you all!

Summer‘s almost over. Time to balance it out with some last sessions and change from open air slots to indoor stages.

My new single Cada Día is out now! The song tells about the dreariness of everyday life. About fatigue and the loss of joy. Cada Día me da más igual. It‘s time to find that smile again.
