One of our 2026 Bingo predictions is already checked off!
announced a new global user verification roll-out starting March 2026, requiring users to prove their age (via facial age estimation or government ID) to access full platform features and age-restricted spaces or stay in a “teen-by-default” experience until they do.
This move is more than a safety update! It signals a broader trend:
Continuous identity verification is becoming mainstream.
Platforms increasingly recognize that identity isn’t just confirmed once at sign-up, it needs ongoing validation to protect users, reduce fraud, and enforce appropriate access.

Add to that workshops, meetups, and industry gatherings across Europe, and one thing became clear: meeting clients, partners, researchers, and peers in person remains invaluable.
