New Daily Bread blog post 03/12/2020

Voices from Europe: Check out Chantal Müller-Mukamurera's Advent contribution to the Daily Bread today. Chantal lives in Munich, Germany.

New Daily Bread blog post This year everything seems to be slowing down to me. But still my life is not enough to do justice to all the people to whom my heart belongs. A scripture in the Book of Mormon says, “It is not necessary that people run faster than they have strength.”

Community Circle Advent 01/12/2020

Our Gift to You! This past Sunday we began the Advent Season by lighting the candle of hope. We will continue to journey through this season of anticipation of Christmas each weekend in our worship services, but we wanted to give you a virtual Advent Calendar made by the Leadership Team to accompany you each day through the season.

Community Circle Advent Michael, Rand, Gail & Claire has created an advent calendar for you! Happy holidays! :)

Mini-Service: July 5, 2020
In case you were unable to join us, here is a snapshot of what we learned and celebrated in community this week:

* Lectionary Scripture: Matthew 11:16-19, 25-30

* Guest Minister, Nancy Ross (Pastor of the Southern Utah Congregation in the US and Art Historian) used "The Banjo Lesson" by Henry Ossawa Tanner for a Visio Divina Spiritual Life practice. What do you observe in this painting? How does this painting relate to the Lectionary Scripture? Can you see the Divine in this scene of intentional listening, caring, and rest? How might this painting challenge the way you see Jesus?

* The community celebrated the Lord's Supper together.

* Disciple's Generous Response: James 1:5. God is generous with us when we ask! Reflection: Are you the generosity that others have asked God for?

* Closing hymn: "Come unto me" by Take 6. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zj7sgIdvj8U
