An evening full of magic, mystery, and team spirit ✨

Last week, we transformed ourselves into a school of magic for our team event with a magical atmosphere, and a dinner that fit perfectly into the setting of a murder mystery dinner.
With 16 participants, all creatively dressed up and playing impressive characters, we immersed ourselves deeply in the story. Together, we had to unmask the “villain”.

There were special prizes for the following:
Best costume 🎭
Best performance 🏆

What impressed us most, apart from the show, was that the evening brought us even closer together as a team. Between guessing games and magical moments, there was finally plenty of room again for informal exchanges and personal conversations, which sometimes get neglected in everyday working life.

A moment of success and celebration based on strong teamwork and leadership.

After two inspiring days in Italy with fifty leaders from all over the world. Together they lead six thousand people in a global industrial technology company.

We worked on tough challenges. Analytically sound solutions to real business problems. And leadership and culture.
One method: building a huge marble run under real pressure. Very limited time. Many dependencies. High performance expectations. Communication between teams was restricted to two times two minutes. If that sounds like everyday silo culture, that was the point.

Experiential learning works because it mirrors daily business challenges while shifting the context just enough. That makes it easier to step out of old behavior patterns. The teams practiced iterative problem solving. They balanced fun with sharp focus. Discipline, appreciative directness and pragmatism.

Not politically correct, but well researched: for many tasks and teams, diversity can initially increase complexity. But when teamwork is strong and well trained and the task demands creativity, diversity becomes a real advantage. That is exactly what happened here.
