🚗✨ Need a ride? In British English, we don’t say “Can you give me a ride?” — we say “Can you give me a lift?.”

It’s one of those little everyday expressions that makes your English sound instantly more natural.

“She gave her colleague a lift to the conference.”

“I usually give my manager a lift when we travel to see clients.”

But, try these modern versions for more everyday situations:
