Neon Insect

Hey guys,

it has been way too long since I said anything. But I want to let you know I am still alive, still messing around in different ways, whenever I feel like and find the inspiration to do so. I can not say when I will have something ready, it will come though.

Just to keep you in the loop a bit about what is going on: Right now I am moving into another house and I need to get a room ready as my creative outlet. It requires some renovating here first. I still dabble on my hardware, when I need to scratch that itch, but right now it is not full force music. But I will let you know, when I am doing so.

Another thing that I felt like I need to speak about is I can not hear that well anymore. Some might have recognized it on my last album, that the quality wasn't right there anymore. I couldn't tell, because for me it sounded perfectly fine. Reasons why I have trouble with my ears is work related. I work in a ... let's say .. loud environment with impact sounds and I think that is taking it's toll. I will find a way to figure out how to get the sound back on par again. Maybe getting back to visual analyzing and maybe AI could help there, too or I find someone who can help with this.

Speaking of AI...that is a topic that is really keeping me busy..and actually holding me back , too. As you all know, I do not give liveshows. I tried, but not hard enough after the first 20 rejections. I think I will find myself in a position, that I might have to prove that all my sounds are handmade, all my lyrics are handwritten and that all that stuff is basically my work. I do a lot, from drawing to creating videos, sound design etc. I try out a lot, even AI is interesting (in terms of Managing, PR and learning new skills). But I am not exactly the person that shows much of the process behind it. I am not that outgoing of a person, it's that simple. And I fear that I will find myself in a position to prove what I have done is mine. Only thing I have is my stuff here was before AI. What is your opinion on that? Let me know
