🇬🇧 SK Race Braunschweig – Double Podium for Moritz Hahlen! 🏁

What a weekend for PSR team driver Moritz Hahlen at the SK Race in Braunschweig!

Changing weather conditions, an evolving track surface and some challenges with the timing system made for a demanding race weekend. Getting the setup right early in practice proved to be the key, and the team managed to find a strong package for both classes.

Moritz competed in both Nitro and E-Buggy and successfully qualified for both finals.

The Nitro final started with some bad luck, leaving Moritz at the back of the field after the opening laps. Instead of getting frustrated, he stayed focused, drove a smart race and worked his way through the field. After 20 minutes of racing, he secured an impressive 3rd place finish.

The E-Buggy class brought another strong result. Starting from 9th on the grid, Moritz fought his way forward over the two final legs to finish 3rd overall. An impressive achievement considering it was only his second race with the new Mugen MBX8R Eco.

What impressed us most was not only the two podium finishes, but the way Moritz handled setbacks throughout the weekend. Staying calm, focused and continuing to push forward when things don’t go according to plan is a valuable skill in racing.

Technically, everything worked flawlessly. The Mugen cars, Ninja Engines, Ultimate Racing components, batteries, PSR fuel and VP Pro tires performed perfectly throughout the event.

A big thank you to the organizers and all volunteers. Despite the technical challenges, everyone kept working hard to make sure the event could be completed successfully.

🇩🇪 SK-Lauf Braunschweig – Doppelpodium für Moritz Hahlen! 🏁

Was für ein Wochenende für PSR Teamfahrer Moritz Hahlen beim SK-Lauf in Braunschweig!

Wechselhaftes Wetter, ständig veränderte Streckenbedingungen und einige Herausforderungen rund um das Zeitnahmesystem machten das Rennen alles andere als einfach. Umso wichtiger war es, die Fahrzeuge bereits im Training optimal auf die Strecke abzustimmen – und genau das ist gelungen.

Moritz ging sowohl in der Nitro- als auch in der Elo-Klasse an den Start und konnte sich in beiden Klassen souverän für die Finals qualifizieren.

Im Nitro-Finale lief die erste Runde zunächst nicht nach Plan. Nach etwas Pech fand sich Moritz am Ende des Feldes wieder. Statt hektisch zu werden, blieb er ruhig, fuhr sein Rennen und arbeitete sich mit sauberen Überholmanövern Platz für Platz nach vorne. Am Ende wurde seine starke Aufholjagd mit Platz 3 belohnt.

Auch in der Elo-Klasse zeigte Moritz eine starke Leistung. Von Startplatz 9 aus kämpfte er sich in den beiden Finalläufen bis auf den 3. Gesamtrang nach vorne. Besonders bemerkenswert: Es war erst sein zweites Rennen mit dem neuen Mugen MBX8R Eco.

Noch mehr als die beiden Podiumsplätze beeindruckte uns die Art und Weise, wie Moritz mit Rückschlägen umgegangen ist. Ruhig bleiben, konzentriert weiterfahren und sich nicht aus dem Konzept bringen lassen – genau das hat er an diesem Wochenende eindrucksvoll gezeigt.

Technisch lief das Wochenende ebenfalls perfekt. Die Mugen-Fahrzeuge, Ninja Engines, Ultimate Racing Komponenten, Akkus, PSR Sprit und VP Pro Reifen funktionierten über das gesamte Wochenende zuverlässig und ohne Probleme.

Ein großes Dankeschön an den Veranstalter und alle Helferinnen und Helfer. Trotz der technischen Herausforderungen wurde alles dafür getan, das Rennen erfolgreich über die Bühne zu bringen.

🇬🇧 NRW Cup Finale – MSV Hürtgenwald | PSR Race Report

At the final round of the NRW Cup 2025, hosted by MSV Hürtgenwald in the beautiful Eifel region, PSR drivers Marcel Guske and Moritz Hahlen closed out the season with strong performances.

Marcel competed in the Top class with his Xray buggy and finished in an excellent 2nd place after a consistent and fast final.
Moritz raced in the Hobby class with his Team Associated buggy powered by Ruddog Nitro and fought his way to 5th place, despite some intense and not always fair battles on track.
In the separately held Kids final, Moritz claimed a strong 2nd place – a great end to his weekend.

Positive note: the new tire rule (cutting and gluing edges now allowed) worked brilliantly – cars were much easier to handle and tire wear was well under control.

Great job, Marcel and Moritz – strong team effort to wrap up the season!

🇩🇪 NRW Cup Finale – MSV Hürtgenwald | PSR Rennbericht

Beim letzten Lauf des NRW Cups 2025, ausgerichtet vom MSV Hürtgenwald in der schönen Eifel, zeigten die PSR-Fahrer Marcel Guske und Moritz Hahlen noch einmal starke Leistungen zum Saisonabschluss.

Marcel ging in der Top-Klasse mit seinem Xray Buggy an den Start und sicherte sich nach einem konstant schnellen Rennen einen hervorragenden 2. Platz.
Moritz fuhr in der Hobby-Klasse mit seinem Team Associated Buggy und Ruddog Nitro Power. Trotz harter – teils grenzwertiger – Zweikämpfe kämpfte er sich auf Platz 5.
Im separat ausgefahrenen Kids-Finale holte sich Moritz zudem einen tollen 2. Platz.

Besonders positiv fiel die neue Reifenregelung auf: Cutten und Klebekante erlaubt – die Fahrbarkeit war top, der Verschleiß absolut im Rahmen.

Starke Leistung von beiden – ein würdiger Abschluss für das PSR Team beim NRW Cup 2025!
