Secondary Prepainted & Mixed Steel Coils

TAMEX GmbH is active in the international trade of non-prime steel items in all types, grades and shapes.

We are mostly selling flat rolled products, sheets, plates and coils, hot rolled, cold rolled and coated material, as well as re-rollables, to third countries as well as into the European Community. (Further down we will explain the mentioned products a little more in detail).

The material is being sourced in West-Europe with all major producers and mostly purchased from their affiliated service-centers. Surplus steel products, which are no longer needed or which can’t be processed in the producing countries at reasonable cost as well as defective items not useable for the specified application, are being released by the mills for overseas exports.

Items in detail

We already mentioned that we mostly trade “flat rolled products”. These are:

-Hot rolled plate, thicknesses 5 – 150 mm, smaller or larger sizes
-Hot rolled coils
-Cold rolled coils
-Cold rolled sheets, mixed bundles
-Cold rolled sheets, assorted bundles
-Hot dipped galvanized steel sheets in coils (steel coils coated with zinc for rust proof)
-Elo-galvanized coils (steel coils electrolytically galvanized), coated with zinc in a mat finish
-Prepainted steel coils (galvanized coils coated with coloured laquer or foil)
-Prepainted steel sheets (galvanized coils coated with coloured laquer or foil), in mixed and unassorted bundles
-Rest slit coils
Long products are

-Roundsteel, flat steel, squares
-Joists and beams
-Reinforcing bars and wire rods in coils and straight lengths
